is doing commissions along the same lines as me! He's got a wonderful style, and you may be able to sell any drawings he does for you for lots of money someday because he's got an awesome comic called Para-Ten and he's obviously gonna be rich and famous. SO BUY ONE!

Commissions

INFO:

1.) This is the guideline of the pieces I'm offering. Basically you will request a subject (a character, most likely?) and then I will ask you to pick a color for me to use as a color scheme (like for the picture of Tancho I chose dark red). Also I'll be signing them; I just forgot to sign this one. Also, all pieces will be digital and drawn in photoshop.

2.) I'll only take five requests at a time! Once all the slots are filled up I'll close commissions and you'll have to wait until they're paid for and completed.

3.) Please request ON THIS JOURNAL ENTRY, it's first come first serve and I can keep better track of it that way.

4.) Just claim a request first, and once I put your name on the list below please note me (or I will note you) and you can tell me what you'd like and we can discuss the details.

5.) Paypal please! Well, I prefer paypal, but if you want to do snail mail I think that'd be ok, just let me know.

6.) I'm gonna try to really prioritize these and get em done as fast as I can but I'm gonna say the deadline i'm setting will be a month

7.) I will start drawing right away but I won't give you your commission until you've paid me.

8.) Also, if you'd prefer a certain size or resolution or format, let me know! Also let me know if you want me to submit the pieces to DA or not. Otherwise I will do them just like the example and have them be .jpg format if you don't specify. (.jpg and .png are what i most commonly use)

AND NOW, A MEME! ~Kami-Kyubi tagged me to do a meme where I make eight questions and then answer them so you may know more about myself. HERE GOES

1.) What do you want to be when you  grow up?

I've always bounced back and forth between wanting to be a comic-illustrator or an animator. Making comics always actually appealed to me more because I'd get to be more in charge and do my own stories--but the more I look into animation, the more it becomes more and more fascinating to me, and then when CalArts accepted me, I was like "OK, ANIMATION IT IS!" I think illustration will always be my first love, though. I just want to be a story teller!

2.) Are you going to draw anything other than commissions this summer?

I actually am beginning to write some ideas for a short comic or two I'd like to do. I'd like to make a short comic about Fumio and his kappa family, and also a short comic about Kin and his parent's history. And then a third idea is kind of  a funny one ive had in my head for a while about a geisha, a ninja, and a samurai, though I'm not sure if I want to make that a comic or a series of illustrations. We'll see! (I'm often guilty of doing a lot of talk and not much walk--I hope I can get some of this done...)

3.) Why aren't you submitting any traditional art anymore?

MY SCANNER IS BROKEN BOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...actually apparently it's something wrong with my new computer's operating system or something that wont recognize my scanner driver.  I need to call apple. Uugghh

4.) What are your inspirations/favorite artists?

I'm inspired by lots of things all the time! My favorites are always changing, too. Lately I've been rewatching all my ghibli DVDs and I have to say miyazaki is a hhuuuggee inspiration right now. Ive always liked Pixar, too, but I really became a big fan since Ratatouille. (UP WAS AWESOME BY THE WAY). Jill Thompson also is one of my favs right now, I love her scary godmother comics and books, and magic trixie, too. She makes me want to watercolor. I really get inspired by seeing my friends art on DA and lj, too! I love observing everyone's various techniques and styles.
OH, Doublefine, too! I think they're a very creative team. It must be so fun to work for them.

5.) Are you scared about college?

VERY!!! (but also very psyched)

6.) When is the next professor layton coming out?
